PowerSchool = Parent & Student Portals Print E-mail

At the beginning of the 2011-12 school year, the Oregon City School District began using a new student information system, PowerSchool.

The teachers were given a five week period to learn, adjust, and implement this new system before internet availability was given to the parents and students. On Friday, September 23rd, the parents were mailed access ID’s and passwords for all their children in the district. The parents now can monitor their child’s attendance, academic progress, read the daily school bulletin, and view other general information using the Parent Portal. On Tuesday, September 27th, the students in grades 9-12 were given their usernames and passwords to access their academic information using the Student Portal. A user guide explaining these systems is posted on the Clay High School website located under the weekly announcements links. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these systems, the parents can e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and the students can send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Since all grades are available online and students can print grades at school if needed, midterm reports will not be issued. Please contact the teacher directly if you should have any questions regarding grades. However, quarter report cards will be distributed to every student. The end of the first quarter is Friday, October 21st, and report cards will be distributed on Friday, October 28th.
