The Dental Office Administrative Specialist program is designed to prepare students for entry-level front office administration. These positions may include receptionists, treatment coordinators, financial coordinators, or dental office manager trainees. Students will receive classroom instruction and a community-based externship experience with a local dental office or clinic. Oregon Career & Technology Center is an active partner with The Toledo Dental Society.
Students receive training in administration including customer service, patient scheduling, handling billing and insurance claims, collecting payments, arranging for treatment plans and managing business documents. After completing the Dental program, students will sit for the following certifications:
