Hello! As the Coordinator of Gifted Education for the Oregon School System, I promise to do my very best for the children identified as gifted or talented according to the State of Ohio guidelines. I graduated from Clay High School and the University of Toledo. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Specialization and a Masters Degree in Gifted Education. Before returning to my community and Alma Mater, I spent six years in various locations throughout the state developing the knowledge and skills necessary to insure the delivery of quality services to gifted students. I began in the field of gifted education in 1990 and came to Oregon in 1996. I can honestly say that the gifted department in the Oregon School System is the best it can be considering the financial obstacles we face. Rest assured, I will continue to fight for the right to a proper education for our brightest students. |
