I am a proud Dad involved with many of my son's activities/sports including baseball, basketball and tennis. I am an unabashedly fanatical Detroit Tiger fan--enjoying games as often as possible. I also love to find inspiration in music from all sorts of genres and enjoy connecting with students through their music. What are some accomplishments of which you are proud? First and foremost I am proud of the young man my son is growing to be (and am incredibly awe-struck at the notion that I may have something to do with that:) I am proud of the deep-rooted connections I have been able to make with young people as a classroom teacher/coach. It has been rewarding to be a part of a high school sport that has experienced a great deal of growth due in large part to the positive experiences that many of our athletes have had. I was able to attend an "I Make a Difference" awards banquet as a guest of one of Clay's Salutatorians a couple of years ago and I find it personally inspiring to be fortunate enough to work with these incredible young people. I am proud of the fact that I am keenly aware of the awesomeness of young people and how lucky I am to be in a position to give them the respect that they deserve.
