6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Resource Room Classes
Each middle school has a gifted and talented teacher assigned to teach two blocks per grade level of gifted and talented language arts. Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 are in this setting.

Enriched Math
Students who qualify may take advanced level math at an earlier age/grade.
Foreign Language
Students may take a foreign language option, in addition to their regular schedule.
Classroom Teacher Visitations
Directed by the coordinator, options for the classroom teacher include in-service, speakers bureau, traveling publishing center, small group pullouts in or out of class, and a variety of other collaborations designed to meet specific needs.
Direct Service to Students
Directed by Resource Teachers, students' options include opportunities in science, math, technology, language arts, independent study, and career exploration that are offered within the curriculum during the school day.
Special Interest Activities
Special opportunities are offered at the building level and offer students a chance to explore an area of interest and to take leadership responsibilities. Such activities include the Legislative Problem Solving Team, Academic Challenge Team, Meeting of the Minds Seminars, etc.
