| 3rd Quarter AR Reward |

The 3rd quarter Accelerated Reader (AR) Reward Assembly took place on Friday, March 30th. We had 389 students participate in this event. In order to qualify for the reward, students in grades K and 1 needed to earn 1 point. 2nd graders needed to earn 5 points. 3rd graders had to earn 11 points. Students in 4th grade had to earn 16 points. As far as 5th grade goes, these students needed to earn 2 points above their personal goal. The students enjoyed Wii Dancing and a visit from our very own Starr Bulldog! There has been over 20,000 AR quizzes taken this year. This is amazing! Starr Bulldogs are Super Star Readers!
Click here to see the list of students who qualified for this event. A huge thank you goes out to all of the terrific AR Volunteers who volunteered to supervise the students. These types of events would not be possible without you! To qualify for the AR Reward Party for 4th quarter, students in Kindergarten will need to earn 1 point. 1st graders will need to earn 3 points. 2nd graders need to earn 6 points. 3rd graders have to earn 14 points. Students in 4th grade have to earn 20 points. As far as 5th grade goes, these students will need to earn 2 points above their personal goal. If you have any questions regarding 5th grade requirements, please contact your child's teacher. The requirements for the AR Reward Assembly reflect points above and beyond the minimum requirements established by the District and/or the guidelines set by your child's teacher through book reports and other class requirements.
