The Blackmon Center is an Alternative Learning Environment for students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. This program is a partnership between Lutheran Home Society (LHS) – Youth and Family Services and Oregon City Schools servicing students housed in LHS group homes and contracted by local school districts.
Our students come to us with a variety of needs. The Blackmon Center program has the ability to customize services to meet each student’s individual needs according to his/her individual education plan (IEP).
We have highly trained and skilled teachers who provide a balance of behavioral interventions combined with a real educational experience teaching the New Ohio Learning Standards.
We provide a low cost, high quality program for our students.
See our Blackmon Center Brochure for more information.
