Clay High School

Academic Boosters Club:

Members of the Academic Boosters Club meet to discuss reward programs for academic achievers. ABC involves a group of parents, educators and community members who develop and implement incentives for students who excel in school.  ABC sponsors the Top 10% Honors Banquet and the Top 30% Pancake Breakfast, and an annual Teacher Appreciation luncheon as well as the annual Garage Sale fundraiser. New members are always welcome.  ABC meets on select Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Clay High School Learning Commons.  For more information or contact Tammy Hughes at (419) 693-5665 ext. 2044 or thughes@oregoncs.org.

Athletic Boosters Club:

The Clay High School Athletic Boosters Club does a great job supporting the young people participating in athletics.  From equipment to uniforms, the boosters are always willing to pitch in and do their part to help ensure a positive experience while participating in any Clay sport. The boosters usually meet the third Monday of every month at 7 p.m. The meetings are held in the Clay High School Learning Commons.  Please feel free to join this fine organization as they continue to work for the young people of Clay.  For more information or question, send emails to: ClayAthleticBoosters@gmail.com

Band Boosters:

The Clay High Band Parents purpose is to nurture and support the 5th – 12th grade band programs. From working concession stands during fall and spring events at the stadium, citrus sale, spaghetti dinner  as well as a variety of other fundraising events, money is raised to support instrumental music programs in our schools.  Parental support is critical for the success of the organization; chaperones, concessions, uniforms, fund raising, programs, flags majorettes and percussion are just a few activities the boosters support. The Band Parents have purchased new uniforms at the cost of $84,000, covered numerous band expenses, and assisted in band trips, scholarships, awards and the band banquet as well! Join us in the band room at Clay HS on the fourth Monday of the month at 6 p.m.  Contact  Sally Finger for more information at afinger2000@yahoo.com.

Choir Boosters:

The Clay/Fassett Vocal Music Association (CFVMA) choral booster organization is open to all parents, choral alumni, and friends of the Clay High School and Fassett Junior High School vocal music departments. The CFVMA provides leadership in raising funds to support the objectives and necessities of the choral program, organizing volunteers, and promoting the vision, mission, and goals of the vocal music department.

The group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are held in the choir room.   For more information, please contact Thom Sneed, Vocal Music Director, at 419-693-0665, ext. 2150, or at tsneed@oregoncs.org.  You may also find us at ocsvocalmusic.org, Facebook, and Twitter.

Clay High Alumni & Friends Association:

Limelighter Boosters:

The Clay High School Limelighter Boosters is a group of parents, with elected officers, organized for the purpose of supporting the CHS Performing Arts Program. The organization works closely with the Directoral Team and the High School Limelighter Officers to identify the needs of the program and to provide help where and when needed. The Limelighter Boosters fund and award annually the Jacob Freimark memorial scholarship as well as a Limelighter scholarship. In front of the curtain, the boosters help with production operations ranging from ticket and concession sales to Tech Sunday Dinners and Cast Parties. For those interested in becoming a member of this great organization or lending financial support to the Limelighter Boosters, the organization meets every second Monday of the month.
