Veterans Day Concert
The Clay High School Concert Chorale will present a Veterans Day concert on Sunday, November 11, at 3:00 PM in the Clay High School Auditorium. This patriotic, musical salute will give tribute to America’s armed forces and their sacrificial service to our nation. The concert will feature a special description of The Purple Star Designation recently awarded to Clay High School and the Wounded Warrior Project being conducted by the Clay High School Tri-M Music Honor Society. No admission fee. Doors open at 2:30 PM.
Clay Limelighters Benefit Concert
Crazy Dreams, a one-night only benefit concert presented by Elizabeth Gibson and G. Scott Lacy will be presented on Friday, November 16 at 7:30 PM in the Clay High School Auditorium. This delightful evening will feature many great songs from the film and stage and the remarkable talents of two, long-time friends. Tickets are available online at claylimelighters.org and at the door: Adults $15, Seniors/Students $10. All proceeds benefit the Clay Limelighters Theatre program.
Annie, the Musical
Start your holiday celebrations with Clay High School Limelighter’s production of the optimistic, family-friendly musical, Annie! Based on the stories of “Little Orphan Annie,” this popular musical is the winner of 7 Tony Awards and is sure to warm your heart.
A plucky orphan girl is on a mission to find her parents in 1930s New York City, after being abandoned years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. When billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to spend Christmas at his home, their great adventure begins! Along the way, they make friends with Franklin D. Roosevelt, a lovable dog named Sandy, and experience many surprising discoveries until Annie finally finds her forever home.
Performances are Nov. 30, Dec. 1, at 7:30 PM and Dec. 2, at 3:00 PM. Reserved seating tickets may be purchased online at claylimelighters.org or by calling 419-693-0665 ext. 2150. Adults $12, Seniors/Students $10. Only General Admission seating will be available at the auditorium box office prior to each performance. Annie is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
