The Technology Department provides hardware, software, training, repairs and maintenance for all network and computer systems. Our department continually strives to meet the ever increasing demands of education in the 21st century.
Over the past several years, the technology department has worked diligently to improve operational efficiency and increase learning opportunities. After more than a year of thorough investigation and planning, Oregon City Schools has begun implementing a one-to-one learning environment with a mobile device for every student at certain grade levels. Each student in our junior high school is equipped with an iPad and our high school just recently rolled out 11" Macbook Air laptops to every student. The state is moving all testing online, which will require several more computers than we currently had available in recent years. Additionally, interactive textbooks and an abundance of quality resources are now available for laptops and tablets.
