SkillsUSA is a co-curricular organization for students enrolled in technical and industrial programs. The students in Automotive, Integrated Machining and Engineering, Engineering Design and Development, Cosmetology, Electrical and Industrial Engineering, form this organization. Students can build their character, as well as leadership, teamwork, and citizenship skills.
At the Fall conference, officers will participate in leadership training, while candidates for regional office will be chosen by voting for delegates from the region.
Regional officers that are elected at the Fall Leadership Conference will participate in the officer training held in January.
Students have the opportunity to participate in local, regional, state, and national competitions throughout the year. The local organization includes more than 200 students.
