The Cup of Confidence at Eisenhower Intermediate School empowers students with life skills and confidence while spreading positivity! By serving staff, they gain purpose, build connections, and show the power of inclusion in action. At IKE, they do it right!💚☕️

    A Cup of Confidence
Teachers and staff at Eisenhower Intermediate School have a “latte” to look forward to on Fridays thanks to Tori Moore and her crew. Mrs. Moore, a fifth through eighth grade intervention specialist, created the Cup of Confidence Cafe, serving coffee, tea, treats and smiles to staff on Fridays. She and her team of paraprofessionals Brenda McNary, Stacey Penix and Patrick Burton are brewing up confidence in their students as they build life skills. This crew of students has been averaging around 25-30 orders a week with ease and excitement! #BetterTogether

🐾 Why a school facility dog is impactful for our students! 🐶💛
Here’s a peek at what Apollo will provide Starr Elementary School every day:
⭐️Calms stress & anxiety — a furry friend makes tough days easier.
⭐️Encourages learning — students love reading to a dog that never judges.
⭐️Builds connection — helps shy kids make friends and feel included.
⭐️Comforts through grief & loss — offers quiet support when words aren’t enough.
⭐️Teaches empathy & responsibility — caring for a dog builds character.
⭐️Supports students with special needs — provides comfort, safety and independence.
One wag at a time, our school facility dogs make classrooms happier, calmer and more inclusive places to learn. 🐕🎒
We’re incredibly thankful to the Oregon Schools Foundation and our community partner Toledo Refining Company for making this possible. Your support helps bring comfort, joy, and healing to our students every day! 💛
We want to thank everyone for making Apollo’s first day paw-sitively wonderful!
Special shoutout to Toledo Refining Company and the Oregon Schools Foundation for their support in bringing Apollo to us!

What a night for a great cause! 🎉
Last night's Volley For A Cure event was a smash! The energy in the gym was electric as our incredible community came together to support the fight against cancer.
A massive thank you to everyone who participated! We are thrilled to announce that we raised a significant amount of money that will be split between two amazing local cancer organizations. Your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of many.
And of course, the main event! It was an epic volleyball face-off between the 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams and the teachers! The competition was fierce, the volleys were intense, and in the end, the students' skills were too much to handle. A huge shoutout to our 7th and 8th grade girls for taking home the win! 🏆
Thank you again for showing up, cheering loud, and donating!
