Blackmon Center

Blackmon Center

The Blackmon Center is an Alternative Learning Environment for students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. This program is a partnership between Genacross Lutheran Services - Family and Youth and Oregon City Schools servicing students housed in Genacross group homes and contracted by local school districts. Our students come to us with a variety of needs. The Blackmon Center program has the ability to customize services to meet each student's individual needs according to his/her education plan (IEP). We have highly trained and skilled teachers who provide a balance of behavioral interventions combined with a real educational experience teaching the New Ohio Learning Standards.
