About:  The yearbook staff is composed of 10th grade, 11th grade, and 12th grade students.  The staff is responsible for creating the 200+ page yearbook that chronicles the entire school year and is distributed the following fall.  Staff members work together on layout designs, cover art, copy/caption writing, interviews, photography, and any other task related to the development and distribution of the yearbook.  Students interested in a position as a staff member are encouraged to complete an application and schedule for an interview in January before scheduling.

Book Orders:   All yearbook orders are placed online through Jostens.  You can select Clay High School from the drop-down menu, or enter our order number: 12115.

All orders must be placed before May 1st.

Books are fall delivery, which means that they arrive at the end of September the following school year.  Once they arrive, announcements will be made via PA and the website.  If you are ordering for a senior, then it is highly recommended that you select the “ship book” option when placing your order.  It costs a little more, but your book will be shipped directly from the publisher to whatever address you provide.

If you do not receive your book or would like to make special arrangements to pick up your copy, contact Lisa Joseph, advisor, at [email protected].

Senior Photos:   Seniors need to schedule an appointment with Prestige Portraits (formerly Woodard Photographic) to get photographed.  The photo for the yearbook is free and only takes less than 5 minutes.

If you are unable to get to a Prestige (Woodard) location, then we encourage you to take advantage of our In-House Photo Day.  Sign-ups begin in early November. The In-House Photo Day takes place in the Clay Learning Commons; seniors are given a hall pass slip to leave class during their scheduled times to get their photos taken.

Senior photos are always due at the end of December before Winter Break.

Baby Ad Orders:   Baby ads are a Clay High School tradition and give you the opportunity to celebrate your son/daughter’s accomplishments through a collage of photos and a personalized message.  Order forms will be sent out electronically to all senior email addresses and posted on the Clay homepage sometime in March.

Business Ad Orders:   If you own a business and would like to advertise in our book, please email Lisa Joseph at [email protected].
