Role of a Board Member

The Board represents you, the citizen, in establishing a sound educational philosophy, adopting policies for operation of public schools, developing sound financial plans consistent with educational needs and community resources, providing leadership for education progress, and evaluating and upgrading programs.  The Superintendent, Treasurer and administrative staff implement Board policies.
